Reasons for trip

Agrigento is a good place to visit in Sicily for all ages. There are temples to walk around, particularly atmospheric after dark when they are lit up. There is a beautiful sandy beach in the San Leone area and the sea is warm. The food is wonderful especially the home-made pasta with fish in restaurant Caico in Via Nettuno. Villa Cetta is an outstanding B&B and Marco the owner makes delicious breakfasts. Expect to gain half a stone on holiday! The Sicilian people are friendly and welcoming and English is widely spoken.
