We wanted to go to Essaouira again but as easyJet had stopped flying there we chose Agadir instead.
It’s a lovely setting but no history as the town was destroyed by earthquake in 1960. We stayed at the Sofitel which was lovely with pool & direct beach access & at the quiet end of the bay. The hotel probably needs some refurbishment work but is still very nice & the self serve breakfast is sumptuous with a magnificent choice. There is very little to do or see in the town & dissapointing if like us you have been to Marrakech or Fez but for a quiet relaxing beac/poolside holiday it’s ideal.
