Acton Scott as seen in the Victorian Farm Series on the BBC. We had chosen a day (by accident), with out any school trips or coach loads of visitors, so it turned out to be a very pleasent and rural day out. The set up is very welll done and there is lots of information at every turn along side period costume farmers and eastate workers to give first hand accounts of the chores they demonstate.
Very pleasent facilites, including a nice cafe.
Reasonable access for disabled, obvious difficulites going to upper levels of barns and farm houses, but plenty to see on the ground.
Live demonstartions on the farm using antique kit.
A really nostagic experience, which we will be happy to repeat.
