I booked this as I was away with my eldest child and we were travelling back home on the eve of his birthday.
I thought it would be nice to stay somewhere special for a night, so booked Walton Hall for one night on a dinner, bed & breakfast special offer through Groupon.
I had booked a ‘privilege’ room but when we arrived we were upgraded to a suite on the top floor of the Manor House.
It was stunning, with an open plan layout, office area and the most gorgeous views.
Dinner in the evening was equally lovely, a two course meal with a complete vegan menu should you need it.
Breakfast was a buffet with the usual fruit, cereals, pastries and full English breakfast.
There is a leisure complex complete with pool, gym, beauty rooms doing hair, nails etc., although we sadly didn’t have time to use these.
The grounds are stunning. You can walk for hours and as they have their own chapel in the grounds, I heard that you can even get married there!
Dogs are allowed for a small additional fee.
