we booked a table for 2 on recommendation of a friend who lives in Skipton.
We arrived and were shown to our table by a pleasant young lady. The atmosphere was decidedly french, the menu also. Extensive wine list.
We ordered Scallops in Gruyere cheese and Jambon de Bayonne.. Cured Parma ham, mains warm duck beast salad and sea food money bag, both came with french fries (of Couse}.
The scallops were melt in the mouth delicious, great to have home bread to mop up the gruyere, Parma ham superb. Mains, Sea food money bag a delight, the duck breast nice and pink, the salad was wow.
By now we were feeling a little full, but with creme brulee and Tarte de citron on the dessert menu , we just had to.
Probably one of the best meals we have had in a long time, thoroughly recommended.
