Really, that is the name of the cafe, not just a comment about it. It is located on the ground floor of The Atkinson and is “a great little place”:http://www.agreatlittleplace.org/ to stop in for a snack or lunch when in Southport. This cafe won best coffee shop category in the Southport Food and Drink Festival 2011 and I can see why. We were there for lunch one day and highly recommend it. We had very tasty ham and cheese Paninis served with salad and crisps. We got the last table available inside the cafe; there are more outside and beyond the cafe in the gallery. The coffee smelled wonderful but I had an elderflower presse for a change. We were too full for dessert but the cakes looked delicious and a meal in themselves as they are quite tall. The service and food are great and we’ll definitely be back to try something else on the menu; perhaps one of their lovely soups or flans, oh yes, and coffee and cake!
Open from 10 am to 4 pm Monday to Saturday this cafe is run by Autism Initiatives. The cafe is decorated with art work that is for sale – many of which are made by people with autism.
