I have reviewed 450above several times, I make no excuse for that as we have never been disappointed. This time it was possibly unique. Having been in lockdown since mid-March, this was our first tentative step into eating out for close on 15 weeks. We went on Friday 24/07 and were so pleased we went again on Friday 31/07 for my birthday. Scallops, cod, Crab salad, pork fillet were among dishes we had. The menu may be slightly smaller but the chef has obviously been working hard to create new dishes to delight.

The social distancing may have been rigorous but done sympathetically and with good grace by staff and customers. We felt absolutely at ease.

The wine list is a work in progress. The wine we had from New Zealand, California and Argentina were excellent.

This restaurant still stands out in the area for quality, service and value for money.
