THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! I was on the flight QS1071 from Podgorica, Montenegro to Malaga, Spain via Prague, Czech Republic. Old airplane, with no room for legs, rude staff and long delays. But the worst thing happened after arrival at Malaga airport. My luggage was lost at Prague Airport and I have waited for 4 days to get it back! When I finally got my luggage it was completely destroyed with my clothes burned and ragged. At baggage claim we made a damage report. After that I was adviced to fill up a form about my damage on SmartWings website but since today nobody have contacted me. Stay away from this company!!!

A Cautionary Tale: Years ago I had a set of expensive luggage mashed up in some kind of machinery at the airport and because I didn't follow the immediate reporting rule I got nothing, even though I was insured. 30 years on my luggage is always cheap but my seat never is. I think you get what you pay for.

What a dreadful experience BorisZu. Was it a short connection in Prague? I had a tight connection when flying to Indonesia via Bangkok and whilst I made it, my luggage didn't! However, it did arrive safe and sound on the next available flight.

On an AIr Transat flight from Toronto back to Gatwick, Air Transat lost my daughter's suitcase. A week later they found it. It found its way via Athens and Germany. However, Customs in Germany broke the lock of the suitcase and left their note. AIr Transat refused to compensate for the unusable suitcase or repair the lock. They said they did not break the lock, put the blame on the Customs people in Germany, even though the suitcase was mislaid whilst in their care.
