For the last three trips on Emirates Airline at Dubai, despite requesting a wheelchair for my husband, it fails to arrive at the flight. Last trip was the worst when they asked three disabled passengers (one of whom had had a recent CVA (stroke) to leave the flight and walk around the corner where wheelchairs would be provided. They were not there, and we finally returned to the aircraft in desperation. Several were at risk of missing their connection. (Wheelchair passengers should be accompanied at all times, they may need toilet facilities). They said they had no record of the requests yet they had all requested it through their agents. Because I had had trouble previously, I sent my request via the travel agent and also in writing to the Emirates office in London, with a proof of posting. It still did not help. They need to address this issue. Emirates is a wonderful airline for travel but for the disabled I would not recommend it highly.
