I always end up where my wife takes me ….. a surprize but always a lovely destination.
Cayton Bay near York looks beautiful!
I would really lovely to visit Aldeborough and Souhwold. As a small child I lived near Aldeborough and would love to go back and visit. I have very sketchy memories as I moved down south on my fourth birthday but I do have one or two images in my mind. I’ve always wanted to go back so this would be a dream.

I would love to visit St. Ives in Cornwall. The artist in me would be inspired by the brilliant light, the numerous art galleries including The Leech Pottery Studio started in 1920 by the father of studio pottery, Bernard Leech. The branch of Tate Britain would delight me with modern art and who knows, it may even be warm enough to swim!

I thoroughly enjoyed the mystery coach holiday to the north of England which I went on a few years ago and I think Scotland or Wales would also be a great place to see by coach. It is the journey and fellow travellers, as much as the final destination that makes a good coach holiday great. I fancy seeing Fort William or Porthcawl.
Bamburgh
The loveliest beach in the UK
Holkham beach in north Norfolk is a special place for me.
I grew up by the seaside and I often like to return to this place. It is Broadstairs in Kent. It is a haven of tradition and a typical old English sea side town. Hardly anything has changed since I grew up there and I have such fond memories of playing on the beach until it got dark and picking poppies in the fields near the station to take home to my mother.
We love Torquay. In fact, we love the whole Torbay area.
Every year I promise myself to visit Tenby but still havent been there but in all honesty would be grateful for any holiday after a year of ill health and Britain has so much to offer

Weymouth my favourite seaside town.
I would like to re-visit Elie in the East Neuk of Fife, where I spent happy childhood summer holidays; beach games, rock-pooling, my first kiss, my first pint (may have been marginally under-age !). We travelled on the train from Edinburgh until the line was scrapped in the 1960s, then by car. Before the Forth Road Bridge was built, the journey involved a ferry crossing – and a long queue.
I would love to visit beaches in Cornwall.
littlehamton is lovely as the beach is snady and golden. parking is close by and its lovely
Brigton beach is great as ots lively and lots to do along the beach promenade
Aberystwyth as a seaside holiday destination is often underrated, losing out to places like Tenby and Llandudno, amongst others – all wonderful of course. And Welsh. So it is Aberystwyth for me, although I do actually live in a a seaside town – Llanelli – where we actually have a part of the town called Seaside. (The local pub is called the Bucket and Spade!).

I have many happy memories of the glorious beach, Central Gardens, The Pavilion Theatre and department stores: I expect it’s all changed a great deal since I was last there but it would still be nice to see old haunts and perhaps have a couple of coach trips – Swanage, Studland and Corfe Castle would be good, or Christchurch and the New Forest.
