Our best holiday of 2022 has to be Venice……. Such a beautiful place with plenty of exploring to be done.
So many different parts a short hop on a water taxi. Murano Island is a must for a visit.
Great cultural city…….. With huge variety of cuisine’s on offer.

My best Holiday last year was Sorrento. It’s got it all, History, stunning views of the Amalfi Coast, amazing drinks especially a limoncello spritz on a sunny day and of course the food.
A last minute dash due to unexpected availability in a room at Chewton Glen, never been before nevertheless outside of any school holiday it was just about affordable, the ‘full price’ option would have been way out of my league
Hurtigruten, Norway, North Cape and the Northern Lights make for a wonderful, magical trip. Two weeks sailing from Dover. Boarding a ship is so much easier than negotiating an airport.
A comfortable cabin, delicious food, attentive and informative staff, interesting lectures and exciting excursions in this beautiful country make for a wonderful holiday. Love Hurtigruten, love Norway and yes, we saw the northern lights on @ number of occasions.

Australia five weeks exploring the east of the country. So many iconic places, wonderful wildlife, finally saw Whales breaching in Morton Bay. Just loved the whole experience.

My best holiday this year was a trip from Vancouver to Banff aboard the rocky mountaineer. From start to finish we were treated like VIPs nothing was too much trouble. Customer service at its finest. The contrast from the vibrant bustling city of Vancouver to the warm homely welcome of charming Banff added to the enjoyment of the trip.

The best holiday I had,probably ever, was walking parts of The Camino in Northern Spain. It was wonderful because I went with a very good friend and we met lots of lovely fellow travellers. We enjoyed the walks , the scenery, the hotels and of course, the Spanish food! If we go again we will both try and be “match fit” as I was conscious that I was nearly always the back marker!! My excuse is that I was the oldest in the group!!
Only real holiday was Portugal in October, including Porto and a day cruise up the Douro
My holiday for 2022 has been a stay in Cornwall, on the campsite we have been to for many years. We had given up on this, and have been cruising, but the Covid situation meant a stay at home this year. We are planning a cruise for 2023 – hooray!

Holiday to Gibraltar for my friend’s son’s wedding. We stayed at the iconic Rock Hotel for 4 nights – wow what a hotel and the monkeys paid a daily visit to the terrace – what a unique experience.
I spent a wonderful week in August in beautiful Mayrhofen, Austria. Fantastic scenery with trips up the mountains on cable cars. A walking wonderland and lovely food options. A very welcoming hostess in our Hotel made the trip.
My best holiday this year was going to Churchill, Manitoba, Alaska then onto Niagara Falls, Canada.
Churchill is one of the most remote places on earth. There are no roads to it. There is a train which takes about 2 days, or fly. Both set off from Winnipeg, which I was informed is the second coldest place on earth. Churchill is very small on the edge of Hudson Bay, only 800 people live there. I knew from geography lessons at school and my own reading that this was the place of the historical Hudson Bay Company. However, that was not the reason for going. The reason was to try and see polar bears on the arctic tundra waiting on the edge of Hudson Bay for the ice to form so they can go out hunting for seals, having spent a long time on land. I went with a relation who has always wanted to see polar bears. I was so very lucky to see 8 polar bears, It was a surreal and emotional experience so see a bear, so very close to us, sniffing the air and looking up at us. I also experienced 2 nights of spectacular Norther Lights display. It had snowed the day before I arrived in Churchill so I was able to go dog sledding, which was something I have always wanted to do. Niagara Falls was a contrast to the desolate tundra, but very impressive, especially when standing adjacent overlooking the water falling over the edge.

I could not get abroad due to illness this year. I enjoyed a few Daish’s coach holidays, the Isle of Wight was my favourite.

A trip on the Douro
My best holiday was a trip to Greece for an Ambassadors Couch Crash with Couchsurfing. It was an interesting trip and a nice break following a rather miserable holiday in Scotland. I met a number of other Couchsurfing ambassadors whom I have been in contact with but have never met, so that was very nice.
Best holiday in 2022 was four weeks self catering (although ate out for main meals regularly!) in southern Spain. This was in February to escape the British winter weather.
Have not had the opportunity to travel in recent times.
This would be a first class treat in 2023
Not been able to have a holiday since Covid hit, this would be a great help and give me a boost . Also, with the many uncertainties in the world re travel, it would give me a kick start to start travelling again!
Only been away once this year but it was a lovely break – can highly recommend Thornton Hall Hotel
thailand visiting bangkok, krabi and phuket at end of June with my wife. Weather was great apart from one torrential downpour
The Mill at Condor Green , Lancashire. We made an over night stay with family members. Our rom was comfortable, clean, warm and quiet. The restaurant meal was excellent with plenty of choice , the staff are efficient and friendly and the tables are far enough apart so that diners are not joining in with neighbouring diners conversation. Using the lounge after dinner, we were not rushed out at the end of the evening. We had a very enjoyable stay, meal and family get together.

Our best holiday in 2022 is yet to come – just off for a pre-Christmas break in Madeira. So looking forward to a bit of warmth and the wonderful Christmas lights.
Had 4 holidays during 2022. In March to Ilfracombe. Lovely little town & nice area to explore. In June to Parkdean Warmwell Park, wonderful for exploring the area as well as a great park with lots of activities for kids. Also another holiday in June to Newquay Cornwall. Great rediscovering the coastal towns & villages. In July to Disneyworld Florida.
My Hubby & I had our 1st holiday away without the kids & we chose a city break to Barcelona. What a fantastic city, so much to see and do it was absolutely wonderful & would most certainly recommend a visit if you have the chance.

I was having building work done on my house so didn’t get a holiday but I was able to dream about 2023
My best holiday this year was …..my Viking river cruse starting in Prague…or maybe my trip to see family in Canada…or was it a lazy week in Majorca. I really don’t know, they were all brilliant. My wish is that more travel companied didn’t charge a single supplement, it adds so much to the cost of a holiday. I think if companies still have rooms or cabins last minute then they should off it to single people with no supplement, lots of us older single people with no commitments would snap them up. Fingers crossed for that.
Unfortunately I had to cancel my holiday to Lanzarote as my uncle took unwell and, sadly, I had to stay behind to arrange palliative care for him. He passed away the day I was due back home from holiday
Warwick Castle. A range of activities within an historic site to provide interest for all ages within the family. Excellent location as well.
Very sadly, my only holiday in 2022 was a week’s break in Lanzarote last April. This was not the plan as my retirement dream holiday was an escorted tour of Madagascar and Mauritius which has now been cancelled/postponed four times due to all the pandemic problems so my main target is to catch up in 2023 and get out and about more! One of my life ambitions has always been to travel to 100 countries – a few years ago, my 100th. was Japan but since then my total has stuck at 108 due to Covid, so I need to up the ante now!

Best holiday 2022 was a last minute self catering cottage break to Anglesey for our wedding anniversary. I’ve always loved North Wales and now my husband has fallen in love with the place too
Whitby is great for a short break lots of shops and great fish and chips
A multigenerational holiday in the UK using a holiday house rental close to the beach which allowed teenagers freedom but there was plenty for older generation to do locally including walks and visits and even a steam train ride. Excellent local eateries for take away as our house rental was more pleasant than any restaurant could ever be.
We travelled to Canada to visit our son and partner in Vancouver. We started in Canmore, Alberta, wonderful town and then onto the Rockies, fantastic scenery and experiences. We took in Banff, Jasper and Sun Peaks, Whistler and spent a week on Vancouver Island before ending it in Vancouver with the family. Everything was amazing
my wonderful holiday this year was to santorini greace that we had come across the year before while on a cruise the most beutiful place i have ever been to.
Our best holiday in 2022 was a lovely staycation in the historic city of York.
Not only did we have fabulously warm sunny weather, but the city was quieter than in previous years, so we weren’t rushed along or jostled in the streets, nor did we have to queue for very long at the very popular attractions such as Jorvik or the many museums and art galleries.
We stayed at The Moxy Hotel, very near the city centre in Black Horse Lane. A very chic establishment, newly built, with a modern European vibe to it, but with all the luxuries of home, aircon, friendly staff, a gym, a lovely sunny walled beer garden and even a free to use ironing room.
Dog friendly too.
There are so many things to do in York it would take forever to review all of them but I can say that for a city in the UK, it wasn’t expensive. The pubs and restaurants are of an excellent standard – I have to give a special mention to the Fat Badger on High Petergate where we had the best Roast Beef salad I’ve ever had. A mere stone’s throw from the Minster too.
Step outside from the restaurant and up the tollgate steps to the walkway which runs around the outer walls of virtually the entire city, which we did, albeit on crutches, to see the back gardens and views of the Minster and its grounds at your own speed. It gives you a real feel of York’s history.
All in all, a very relaxed and enjoyable holiday. We would definitely go again.
My best holiday this year was a 3 week cruise to Greece with Saga cruises on Spirit of Adventure in October.
Everything was included – Fine dining, drinks, tours, gratuities, travel etc. and the balcony cabins are wonderful.
A tour of Israel and Jordan, including Petra and Jerusalem – trip of a lifetime and seeing two countries that I had never visited before; learnt so much about that part of the world, historical and current, and made wonderful memories – as well as consolidating a friendship with someone I have known since my school days!
A holiday to North Norfolk with friends who I hadn’t seen since before Covid.
So much chatting and catching up I had a sore throat!
Looking forward to a family holiday next year finally after the pandemic has separated us for a few years. This voucher would be very welcome towards a break we all need.
Went to Blackpool, as didn’t want to travel abroad with Covid. It was great because i met up with old friend.
A 2 week holiday in Southern Spain this year was most enjoyable. Perfect wrather in the last 2 weeks of September, good facilities at our Hotel. Plenty of interesting excursions either by coach or local transport.
We sailed with Fred Olsen to the Norwegian Fjords for the first time – absolutely amazing scenery and Fred Olsen’s Balmoral lived up to more than our expectations – we had a fabulous time, with a lovely cabin, amazing crew, beautifully presented tasty food and excellent entertainment.
My best trip of 2022 was a Gastronomic tour of the Basque region based in San Sebastián. Perfect combination of my two greatest passions, food and travelling to new places.
My favourite trip was a week long visit to Detby and Chesterfield. Specific highlights was seeing paintings by Joseph Wright of Derby in the Derby Museum and visiting the 18th Century Cathedral. I also enjoyed visiting Chesterfield with it’s open air market and visiting the Parish Church with it’s crooked spire.
My best holiday of 2022 is one I haven’t had yet – Christmas break with extended family for the first time since Covid hit. So looking forward to seeing the generations mix once more for family fun
We’ve had 2 favourite holidays this year. One to Centerparcs with our grandchildren and one on our own to the beautiful island of Madeira.
Enjoyed a lovely restful week in Lanzarote all inclusive, very good value with TUI. Nothing to do but laze by the pool, apart from wandering over to the restaurant for a great buffet choice.
In 2019 (before Covid hit us) we travelled on Cunard Queen Victoria visiting ports in England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Southern Ireland and the cherry on the top, Iceland. We docked in three different ports in Iceland, including a 2 day visit in Reykevich. We visited the incredible geysers and learnt how the Icelandic people live, (free electric can you imagine?)
Our first visit to Ireland was most memorable by visiting the Giants Causeway and Belfast (NI) and Dublin and Cork (Eire). We kissed the Blaney stone at Blaney Castle so we hope we have the luck of the Irish in your competition.
A cruise to Denmark and Norway, for seven days ,was brilliant.
The most beautiful wedding in Liverpool. A stunning church near the Liver building then off to the Liver building afterwards. I had never been to Liverpool, other than to use the ferries, which is dreadful really considering my age. It’s a stunning city with so many great shops and Liverpool 1 is a great area. We were also lucky with the weather in mid September. Somewhere that I will definitely go to again.
In 2022 we booked a self catering holiday on the North Devon coast in Bideford in November, but it was a mild sunny week, and we could walk the South West Coast Path from the door, on the Tarka Trail up the estuary towards Barnstaple, the other way round Appledore with lovely cobbled step streets to Westward Ho! (the only place named after a book!). Visit a couple of National Trust on the way out Knightshayes with lovely golden colours in the arboreteum, and the way back at Tyntesfield with dahlias still in flower.
Best holiday this year was to Budapest. Friendly people , great prices and lots of shopping and culture . Great food – from high class to take – away .
I was lucky enough to spend nearly 3 weeks in Peru. It was wonderful to see all the llamas and alpacas, visit Machu Picchu and spend time in the Amazon. The wildlife was stunning ranging from colourful birds, monkeys, a capybara and some caiman.
We still haven’t been on a real holiday since Covid (maybe next year) but in September we celebrated my husband’s birthday by spending the night at a good hotel and having an excellent dinner there. We do enjoy foodie breaks!
A river cruise on the Rhine for our 60th wedding anniversary. We hadn’t had a river cruise before and found it to be so relaxing, with ever changing scenery.
Best holiday this Summer was with my son, his partner, 5 year old grandson and my daughter. We all spent precious time together and the weather in Scotland was wonderful.
Still waiting for the holiday due to family commitments, boo hoo.
My best holiday in 2022 was a coach tour to the Isle of Wight. I felt as if I was abroad, without the hassle of airports. The Summer weather was glorious and really good food at the hotel.
Travelling on a coach was really relaxing and the company good.
The lovely sights, seascapes and beaches around the island were stunning and the welcome for tourists warm.

We went on a Hurtigruten ‘expedition’ holiday to Svalbard. While it comprised quite a lot of uncomfortable activities such as ‘leaping,’ hardly, in and out of ‘ribs’ to access beaches and no actual polar bear was spotted by us, we saw many beautiful places and wonderful sights.
Truly a never to be forgotten trip on a comfortable ship with a marvellous crew.

The best holiday experience of 2022 was visiting our son and his girlfriend in Vancouver, Canada. Although it was towards the end of October and we had a few rainy days, the scenery was spectacular and the people very friendly.
My best holiday in 2022 was to the Greek islands of Santorini, Naxos & Paros. We’d not been before but going at the start of the season they were not too busy, we loved the walking & the wine, especially the tours & tastings. We had lovely accommodation & ate well, & the people we met were really friendly & helpful. We made use of the public transport saving the need to hire a car. And to top it all the weather improved the longer we stayed
Due to health complications for my husband we have not managed a holiday this year, or for the past three. However, in October we finally managed to travel 150 miles and with a stay at the Buckingham Premier Inn, to meet our first Great Grandchild, Tristan. Sheer heaven! Maybe not a worldwide tour, but for me it was all I needed.
My best holiday in 2022 was in a lodge in the Lake District with all of my dear family. My granddaughters flourished in all that wonderful fresh air . To be able to be all together in such a lovely setting was fabulous and we enjoyed every single day .
Had brilliant summer holiday starting with Andre Rieu Concert in his home town, super and thank you for the opportunity to win a lovely prize.
Two self catering holidays, both spent with family. One to Norfolk at Easter, nice weather and lovely to
spend quality time with the Grandchildren. The second in Autumn , again in a cottage, but this time in Northumberland, not far from the coast. This was with adult family and really enjoyable looking around the area and spending evenings cooking a meal together.
We had a superb holiday in Norway with my best friend and her husband. She is Norwegian and moved back there 8 years ago but because of covid we had not seen them for over 2 years!!!! It was great to see them and we stayed in their home near Stavanger. We went out and about to see more of this beautiful, beautiful country. It is so clean and well organised with everything running like clockwork!My husband and I can’t wait until our visit next year when we are going on a road trip north of the Arctic Circle.
Booked a lovely cottage in Devon for a multigenerational holiday. Lovely beaches and countryside. The pleasure of our 2 year old granddaughter. All family together after a difficult few years.
My best holiday in 2022 was 4 nights in Venice; I’m not sure if this was our 9th or 10th visit! We travelled in October, as we usually do, as the weather is good for walking around and sitting enjoying drinks in the sun. There is always something new to discover – this time we actually went to an opera in The Malibran Theatre, right next to our hotel, and spent two days at the Biennale. I’m already looking forward to going again next year. By the way, we do have holidays to different destinations as well.
We had a lovely week’s stay at Mistral Mare, a small hotel in the Village of Istron, near Agios Nikolaos in Crete. We loved the quiet location and beautiful views (it was worth upgrading to a sea view room) and enjoyed the all-inclusive board, which was simple but fine. Staff were very kind and helpful – we arrived late at night and the reception staff had made sure the kitchen had kept some dinner for us!
Just used our son and his partner’s last years Christmas Present by spending a few days in lovely Bath. What better time than when the Christmas Market is on. The colours were so bright and various buildings including the Abbey lit up. It now really feels like the Christmas is just round the corner. Mulled wine and mince pies with the sound of Christmas carols in the background.
A lovely 12 day holiday in the Autumn in the UK in the Lake District. A great part of the World and an area I would recommend to everyone!
Visited the Scottish Borders with friends. Stayed in a lovely farm house and tripped round the area visiting a number of historic houses. Spent a day in Edinburgh and managed to visit Holyrood House and the Castle.
Hard to choose our best holiday (all UK self catering) but we really enjoyed our tour of Falkirk, Kintyre and Rothesay – though the weather could have been better!
We had a wonderful relaxing holiday in Menorca to help us get over the shock of suddenly losing our son-in-law.

We had a very interesting trip to Jersey in September. We went with a local coach company largely because they pick up within walking distance of our home. (So many companies expect one to travel miles to a place that suits them). However, the day before the trip we were informed that the ferry from Poole could not run due to the sea conditions so that our first night would be spent in an hotel in Bournemouth. Well, I will not mention its name but …talk about Fawlty Towers! Anyway, the next day off we went on the fast catamaran ferry to find that the sea still was not very kind but at least passable. However, how nobody exited through a plate glass window I will never know. Jersey eventually reached, we found it warm and sunny. The hotel, the Merton, was excellent and although only rated at three stars I must say that I have stayed at worse four star estalishments. We had a most interesting included tour by coach of the island and also explored independently (the buses on Jersey are very good) going to the fascinating Gorey Castle. Of course, on the day of our departure the sea turned vicious again and we ended up going back to Poole via Guernsey on two different ferries and did not get home until the wee smalls. So, more of an adventure than a holiday but the coach company did give us a voucher towards a further holiday with them. Would we go to Jersey again? I suppose so but next time we would probably take to the skies.
We really enjoyed Sorrento in September. We had some fabulous tours along the Amalfi Coast & to Herculaneum. The weather was superb, locals very friendly & food deliciously Italian 🙂
My best holiday this year was in Madrid in mid November. I stayed in an small apartment near the Cibeles Square. As the weather was fantastic I went for sunny walks to nearby Parque del Retiro. I was well placed as well for visits to Prado Museum and Tyssen Bornemisza. A fair amount of bars and restaurants were tested. Also revisited El Corte Inglés when I went, mainly window shopping, to the elegant Calle de Serrano. On a couple of occasions I crossed the Paseo Del Prado and enjoyed the eclectic small shops and some terraced bars of Barrio de Las Letras. Went as far as the Plaza de Santa Ana and the Palacio Real. A lazy and easy stay but enriching nonetheless.
What a terrific five days! This time, spent with a loved one in Madrid, will remain always as a beautiful memory.

My best holiday in 2022 was in Sardinia. It is the most beautiful island with stunning sea and beaches, friendly welcoming people and delicious food.
I had a lovely holiday with a local garden society – we wet to Somerset to visit gardens. The company was good, so was the accommodation and the food.
I went on an escorted tour of Sicily which is a stunning island.
It has history at every turn with beautiful countryside, lovely towns and villages, superb hospitality and regional foods to taste.
Had a birthday trip to Barbados. Lovely island and lovely people. Went with Virgin who were excellent all round
A Royal Caribbean cruise from Barcelona in October. Flying to Spain meant we had good weather from the start and it felt so good to be travelling freely again after all the Covid restrictions.
I had a great stay in Dalyan, Turkey with group of friends. I enjoyed it so much that I stayed on for an extra three days.
My best holiday was a trip I won on Silver traveler to Cornwall. I spent 2 nights in a wonderful spa hotel overlooking the surfing beach and then traveled to a beautiful cottage on the river Fal. I had not been to Cornwall since I was a child and will be returning. I loved every minute!

Best holiday this year was a family ski trip to Les Deux Alpes. Warm enough for summer!
A trip to Harrogate to see my parents. As this is my home town it wasn’t so much the location (though Harrogate is a very nice place) but the fact we also met up with my sister and her boyfriend who were visiting from New Zealand. It was great to get to see everyone again as Covid had previously kept us apart.
Aviemore in March with my grown up boys, probably our last family holiday together. Special memories.
My best holiday this year has to be to the Isle of Wight, as it was my only holiday! I went fossil hunting and did find a genuine 130 million year old fossil.
In July went on a river cruise from Koln down the Rhine and the Maas to Maastrict to see Andre Rieu, his first concert after lockdown. It was arranged by Saga and the concert was excellent but the coach journey to Koln took ages as it was the first day of a Belgium holiday, the coach left Folkestone at about !0:00ish but we didn’t get to the boat till 20:00 and passengers were left to there own devices.
We had a two-night break in Stratford on Avon with no expectations or agenda. A chance conversation over dinner with a neighbouring table led us to book onto a back stage tour of the RSC. WOW! It was amazing. I’ve always enjoyed Stratford and the RSC but my husband not so but he too was enthralled by the tour. He now wants to go back and explore more and may even find a play that we could go too. Win – win!
Sadly no holiday in 2022, apart from a couple of days in Chester! Can’t wait for 2023 holiday.
We had the best experience of our lives on a tour of India. Had been delayed due to covid several times but we got there eventually in August – was worth the wait !
Didn’t manage a proper holiday in 2022. Did spend a lovely weekend in Christchurch, Dorset for a church conference. Stayed at Highcliffe Premier Inn, which has never disappointed, and has to be the best of their hotels in Christchurch.
Madeira in February. Perfect climate while island uncrowded but all facilities open and available. Ideal for folk without children in tow.
Dublin, love the city that is full of beautiful historic architecture.
This year we spent a week in Lynton. It was our Golden Wedding Anniversary and we had spent our honeymoon there. It is a fantastic little town that is full of history and has some wonderful small businesses. There are some wonderful places to eat with a great variety of artisan food shops. The highlight while we were there was the fantastic vintage car show. All in all it took us back 50 years but I think that maybe we will not wait so long before visiting again
On my last holiday I achieved my lifetime ambition by emulating Bugs Bunny and literally took “a left turn at Albuquerque”. It was the highlight of my life, let alone my holiday!
Our best holiday was 3 nights in the New Forest UK in November. It was our first holiday since I had undergone major spinal surgery in the summer and it was such a treat to be so well looked after and be able to relax. The tree colours were fabulous and the smell of the damp woodland a real tonic plus our doggie really enjoyed it – her first trip to a hotel. The Forest Lodge in Lyndhurst.
Baby steps this year. First family holiday since the outbreak of Covid. Travelled with daughter and family to be with son and family, who live in Barcelona. We walked, talked, laughed, relaxed, ate, drank, swam, cycled, explored and laughed some more. All the things you can’t really do via Zoom. Made some great memories.
Dunkeld in Perthshire during Autumn, scenic walk lined by beautifully coloured fallen leaves. Short but wonderful holiday.
Our best holiday last year was an Alaskan cruise with an added week in Niagara Falls and Toronto. So many stunning sights and the Yukon history was amazing. Such brave people looking for a new life.
My best holiday of 2022 was On the Canal du Midi on a self drive Nicols boat in France. Very magical !
Best holiday of 2022? A holiday in October/November to Madeira Beach on the Gulf Coast of Florida… white sand, clear seas and everyday sunshine. Or was it the Viking cruise in August from Athens to Istanbul? Both have been wonderful.
Has to be Lynton and Lynmouth. A beautiful part of the North Devon coast – nature at its best and wonderful Cream Teas and places of interest.
A wonderful week in Marrakesh with dinner in the desert to celebrate my birthday.
Mexico – we went all inclusive for the first time and did not know what to expect but the Hotel was lovely and the local people were lovely as well. The only down side was a lot of very noisy Americans who took over the pool area but the Hotel was large enough that we managed to avoid them mainly!
Holidays are made by the company as much as the location surely! During an extremely challenging year my best holiday was 2 weeks on a lovely campsite between the sea and Lake Hourtin north of Bourdeaux. We travelled with our daughter, her husband and children. So much to do on the very French extremely well equipped pine shaded site… from volley ball and table tennis to chilling by one of the 3 pools ( or enjoying hurtling down the shutes!) to sitting with a book on the veranda or enjoying a yoga class. We cycled in the huge pine woods to small ports & sampled local sea foods, or strolled to the gorgeous beach to watch the kids surfboarding. We didn’t even hire cars…took taxis from & to airport & unnecessary in situ. A fab and green holiday!!
Our best holiday in 2022 – and for some years- was to the Atlas Mountains near Marrakech. Awe inspiring scenery, peaceful, colourful and the friendliest and kindest people ever.
I had a wonderful time in Peru. Many highlights included seeing the alpacas, drinking pisco sours, a visit to Lake Titicaca, and numerous other visits but my favourite was staying in the Amazon for a few days. The lodge was very cosy, the food delicious, the wildlife stunning and all this was very relaxing.
Had a lovely break in Majorca in can picafort eventually, lost a day due to flight returning due to a medical emergency.
A stay at Gladstone’s Library, a wonderful library with rooms in North Wales!
