We’ll explore a different destination for each Book Club, and a lucky Silver Travel Book Club reader can win a free copy of that month’s book.
This month, in partnership with our sponsors Just You, our Silver Travel Book Club invites you to join us in reading about the adventures of a newly formed book club in the stunning setting of Dubrovnik, Croatia.
Written by Eva Glyn, this warm and compelling story brings together a wonderful mix of characters and follows them as they embark on an investigation into a cold case crime.
Newly arrived on the sun-drenched shores of Croatia, Claire Thomson’s life is about to change forever when she starts working at a local bookshop. With her cousin Vedran, employee Luna and Karmela, a professor, they form an unlikely book club.
But when their first book club pick – an engrossing cosy crime – inspires them to embark upon an investigation that is close to the group’s heart, they quickly learn the value of keeping their new-found friends close as lives and stories begin to entwine…
With Dubrovnik as its backdrop, The Dubrovnik Book Club draws you into the Old Town of the city, from the cobbled streets, to the city walls, the sumptuous food, and the vibrant culture. You’ll be drawn into the ancient UNESCO World Heritage Site and feel as if you are transported into the heart of the city as you turn the pages.

The city’s medieval walls, well-preserved old town, and ancient fortresses create a unique atmosphere, transporting visitors back in time. Walking along the city walls, with panoramic views of the Adriatic Sea and the red-roofed buildings below, is an experience unlike any other.
