Glorious Guernsey for lunch!

Your Service Centre Gatwick Airport This competition is now closed.

We are pleased to announce the arrival of The Silver Travellers’ Guide to Gatwick Airport, especially created for the mature traveller by Your Service Centre Gatwick Airport. It is full of useful information and helpful pointers for managing your journey through the airport. The printed guide will be ready in early September and you can order your free priority copy now by sending your postal address to service@silvertraveladvisor.com.

And in order to launch this in style, Your Service Centre Gatwick Airport are offering 3 Silver Travellers the opportunity to enjoy a day trip to Guernsey, courtesy of Aurigny Air Services on Tuesday 27 September 2016. This will be a great opportunity to test some aspects of the guide as well as enjoying a wonderful lunch and tour.

The lucky winners will leave London Gatwick 10am on board GR603, arriving into Guernsey at 11.15am.

A minibus will arrive at Guernsey airport to collect everyone, taking them on an Island tour, finishing at St Pierre Park Hotel at 12.30pm, where lunch will be provided.

Everyone is scheduled to leave the hotel at 3.30pm, to board GR608 departing Guernsey at 4.30pm, arriving into London Gatwick at 5.25pm.

This is a truly super way to celebrate this new guide, which will become an important aid to those passing through Gatwick.

To enter the competition, please comment or write on the forum thread below. Tell us about the funniest or most unexpected thing that ever happened to you at any airport in the UK. We know there’ll be some great stories!

The competition closes on 31 August 2016 and winners will be notified by 3 September 2016.
