Age International photo competition 2016

Age International Photo Competition 2016 Charity Age International is calling for striking images of older people from around the world for its 2016 photo competition.

Whether they’re images showing the challenges older people face in developing countries or insights into later life globally, the theme ‘Strength For Life’ is open to interpretation, but Age International is looking for thought-provoking photos representing older people from all walks of life.

How to enter

The competition is now open until Sunday 5 June. Photos should be submitted online at www.ageinternational.org.uk/competition

It is free to enter, but Age International welcomes donations towards its life-changing work with vulnerable older people in some of the poorest countries in the world.

Prizes and judging

Age International Photo Competition 2016 The competition is open to people of all ages and experience. But don’t worry: there are two categories – professional and amateur, so if you are a keen amateur, your photo won’t be judged alongside those of a professional.

The Amateur category winner will win a class in street photography with a professional photographer, courtesy of The Guardian. The winner of the Professional category will receive a £500 voucher from Calumet Photographic.

Winning images will take pride of place in an exhibition in central London and will also be displayed in an online gallery.

Full terms and conditions are available at www.ageinternational.org.uk/phototerms
