Established in 1946 and travelling since 1947 (and you can see their original brochures here) they’ve helped thousands of walkers discover new places, meet new friends and create memories which last a lifetime. Of course, Ramblers have innovated and expanded the range of holidays over the years, yet their core ethos remains to generate funds for walking charities by providing excellent value activity holidays worldwide.

TV Presenter Julia Bradbury is well-known for her love of outdoor pursuits, but a less familiar name is Beryl Vincent who pioneered some of the very first Ramblers walks – in walking breeches and long socks!
