Ramblers Cruise & Walk Holidays ship visits

Silver Travel Advisor

Ramblers Cruise & Walk Holidays

We are delighted to announce that our wonderful partner Ramblers Cruise & Walk Holidays have created two new opportunities for Silver Travellers to apply to attend an exclusive ship visit, which they will host.

Ramblers Cruise & Walk Holidays have an exciting arrangement with another of our partners, Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines whereby a few of Fred. Olsen’s cruises are designated ‘Ramblers Cruise & Walk Holidays‘.
Ramblers Cruise & Walk Holidays combine the flexibility of a traditional cruise with one of their expert small group, guided, walking holidays, allowing you to enjoy much more walking and sightseeing, all included in the price.

Exclusive Cruise Ship Visit 2020

Date Ship Port Host/Cruise Line Status
Tue 28 Apr Black Watch Liverpool Ramblers/Fred. Olsen Cancelled
Fri 3 Jul Boudicca Dover Ramblers/Fred. Olsen Cancelled

GUESTS WITH A FUTURE BOOKING ON BLACK WATCH OR BOUDICCA, OR THAT HAVE CRUISED ON OR VISITED BLACK WATCH OR BOUDICCA PREVIOUSLY CANNOT ATTEND THE VISIT.
The only exception to this will be where guests have cruised on the vessel prior to their recent refurbishments and do not have a future booking in place, but now wish to view the changes made. The usual Silver Travel Advisor/Fred.Olsen affinity discount will not apply to any bookings for a Ramblers Cruise & Walk booking.

What can we expect on the day

The visit will also be accompanied by Silver Travel Advisor hosts who will meet you in the designated terminal at 9:30am. Full details will be given with our confirmation of places email.

Your ship visit will include brief presentations by both Ramblers Cruise & Walk Holidays and Fred. Olsen, whilst enjoying a welcome drink, followed by a tour of the ship’s public areas and viewing some of the various room grades. After the tour, visitors will enjoy an early buffet lunch with wine in the main restaurant.
PLEASE NOTE: Car parking arrangements depend on which visit you attend and will be included in your confirmation email which will be issued shortly after the closing date.
