Cruise Ship Visits for 2019

A Taste of Cruising We’d like to invite Silver Travellers to join one of our popular ship visits around the UK, giving you a fabulous opportunity to sample a little slice of the cruising life before you take the plunge. It’s a great way to spend the day on board a range of ships, sit down to a superb lunch (on most visits) and explore the ships’ facilities. Ship visits are a perfect experience for those who have never cruised before to enjoy a taste of what’s to come before they book. And for more experienced cruisers, they offer the opportunity to sample a new ship or cruise line.

From a cosy interior cabin to the grandest stateroom, you will have the chance to check out the bathrooms, test the beds for comfort, assess any limited mobility requirements, and most importantly, gauge the wardrobe size to accommodate all those changes of clothes and shoes that you may wish to take!

There’ll also be ample opportunity to explore as you wander the decks, marvel at the theatres and entertainment venues, and browse the bars, shops, library, lounges and even the gym. Stroll outside and picture yourself relaxing in the jacuzzi, swimming pools, the sun-bathing areas and much more. Occasionally ships even put on a short show after the meal to give a flavour of the fantastic entertainment you can enjoy on board.

There’s usually a Silver Travel host who can assist you during the visit, as well as representatives from the cruise companies who will be happy to answer your questions and help to make a booking.

Tempted? Then below are the details of our Cruise Ship Visits for 2019 which will be updated regularly. Click on the cruise line for more details and how to apply.

Please note that the Ship Visit programme is only for Silver Travellers who are genuinely interested in booking a cruise holiday. We give priority to those who are new to cruise or new to a cruise line.

If you would like to be in Funchal, Madeira on 4 April 2020, when all four Fred. Olsen ships are in port together we have a Group Cruise on Braemar that will get you there! More details
