Queen's Lounge - MS Koningsdam - Holland America Line

The MS Koningsdam was the first in a new “Pinnacle class” for five star premium line Holland America Line, and was the company’s first new ship since the MS Nieuw Amsterdam in 2010.
This is a ship that combines the traditions of the current fleet but with new additions that place it firmly in the future. Having listened to their customers, 32 new family staterooms featuring two bathrooms and accommodating families of up to five have been added, along with 12 cabins for the solo traveller. The ship’s capacity is 2,650 guests which puts it into the mid-sized category.
All staterooms feature Holland America Line’s signature Mariner’s Dream bed, bathrobes for use during the cruise, a massage showerhead, flat-panel TV, mini fridge, complimentary fresh fruit on request and toiletries from Elemis.
The World Stage - MS Koningsdam - Holland America Line
Ms Koningsdam entertainment venue, The World Stage, with a 270 degree LED screen, 2 stories high and 250 ft. in length is a sight to behold. The theatre will hosts five new productions performed by a cast sourced from around the world.  Other entertainment includes the BB King “Memphis” Blues Club in the Queen’s Lounge as well as musical entertainment of all kinds from the classical strings of Lincoln Centre stage to contemporary streaming from Billboard on-board.
Those who enjoy the food on a cruise will not be disappointed with dining at the heart of the experience, and 6 alternative restaurants in addition to the main dining room. These include the Pinnacle Grill steakhouse, the new Sel-de-Mer, an French seafood brasserie, as well as The Culinary Arts centre, a show kitchen where cooking demonstrations by top chefs will take place and as evening falls transforms to ‘Dinner’ where guests enjoy each course as it’s freshly prepared before them in a “farm to table” style. In addition, there is the Dive-In where hamburgers are made to order and the Tamarind, where for a modest $15 supplement, guests can enjoy one of the best Pan-Asian restaurants to be found at sea.
This is a ship of the future and with many global trips being offered, it will leave you with happy memories long after you arrive home.
